Wind power for all!

So, I’ve been on my wind power home journey for what feels like ages now. And I’ve come a long way.

In that time, I’ve explored alternatives to ugly wind turbines and talked about my approach to other aspects of keeping my home healthy for my family and the environment. We’ve taken a look, too, at how crazy weather is having an impact on how we talk about energy in this country.

I’ve made friends with the neighbors and have sat in on many HOA meetings talking about how we can all take more responsibility for our energy production and what that may look like both on an individual basis and throughout our neighborhoods.

I’ve even run a few workshops to help my local community reduce our reliance on oil and other non-renewable energy sources.

When I started this site, I never would have predicted that I’d have come so far in just two short years. I’d never have guessed I’d have written so much, or explored so much or learned so much. I wanted to take a moment today to say thank you. Thank you, dear reader, for supporting me through this site. Thank you for emailing me with questions and sharing your own experiences with wind power.

And most of all, thank you for pursuing this for yourself–for thinking for yourself about how you can take responsibility for your personal energy needs and consumption. How you can ensure there’s enough energy for everyone by going to the trouble to learn how to generate your own energy.

It’s such a worthwhile thing to do and to learn and to explore and I want you to know how much I’m enjoying this journey with you. Thank you!
