Residential wind power: making good use of the weather
It’s raining cats and dogs here today, and it got me thinking about how it’s time to install a rain barrel system. After all, it’s important to make the best use of our natural resources, and letting water that’s gotten hot from running off the asphalt roof shingles and then channels into local waterways… Not a good use of natural resources.
Likewise, if you live in an area with plenty of wind, it’s a smart idea to harness some of that for residential wind power to power your home. After all, it’s going to be windy out there either way, and you’ll be using electricity either way, so why not get that energy from a renewable source?
If you’re interested in harnessing this for your own electrical uses, you’re at the right site–I talk about whether residential wind energy is worth the cost, buying a wind turbine on ebay, and the number one killer of green energy.
As I continue to do research on renewable energy and how to Do It Yourself when it comes to generating electricity, I continue to post my findings and experiences here, so make sure to subscribe so that you’ll always get updates automatically–it’s a smart way to make sure you stay on the cutting edge of renewable energy news.
